The High Priestess Speaks

It is January my sisters and we celebrate our third moon into the wheel. We have said our goodbye to the year of old and taken our rest in the darkness. It has been one Moon since awakening the light within and now we celebrate another Esbat. While it would seem that winter still calls us to be dormant, we, daughters of Goddess know different.

It is a time our work begins. It is time to gather our resources as does our Mother Earth, who deep within Her womb has began nurturing Her seeds and roots in preparation of the harvest to come. Without our preparation old habits will cast their shadows and we will once again loose footing on our path. Tonight we will honor Goddess Diana, Goddess of the Hunt. In Her reflection we too will begin our hunt. To fill our spiritual cabinets with what we need to sustain us in our growth and path. Goddess Diana with her bow and agility is able to quickly take what She needs yet She is filled with love of the very forest She exists in. We embrace this balance in our needs of security and our desires of dreams manifested.

It is in this essence we will also address our Coven and it’s growth to come. As Goddess leads more and more sisters to join us let us reflect on our Circle and the four pillars that are its foundation.

Growth
We encourage personal growth. Spirituality and Magick of Goddess are not defined by the hierarchy of Coven status but by wisdom sought and time dedicated by individuals. We celebrate challenges with encouragement, degrees with excitement and accomplishments with joy.
To uphold this pillar I ask each and every one to respect that which is obtained by another and be willing to put forth the effort of self to bring this same commitment forward to keep our Circle balanced in perfect trust and perfect love. If you cannot do this you are always welcomed in open Circle but know this is what is expected in the inner Circle.

Balance
As daughters of the Goddess we seek to live our lives in tuned to Her natural rhythms, our Rituals follow Her seasons and the turning of the wheel. Encouraged by our Sisters in Circle we respect and embrace the dark and the light in all things including our own joys and shadows. We seek sanctuary in balance and become empowered by or choices.
To uphold this pillar I ask each and every one to respect the diverse energies that will fill our circle. Not all will make the choices others feel are in their best interest. While friendships will develop it is very important to allow others their path, lessons, joy and hardships. It is also important to allow one’s shadow to be theirs and not claim it as a challenge that has no place on your path. This is not to say we are not encouraging and compassionate of each other, it is to say there are boundaries that define one doing the work for themselves and not at the cost of the energy of another.

Responsibility
The strength of our Circle comes with accepting the consequences of our choices. The Coven is helpful, empathetic and encouraging in aide but only if someone is wiling to help herself first. The path of another will always be respected as their path as well as their choices and lessons.
To uphold this pillar I ask each and every one to respect that all come to Circle seeking empowerment. While all are compassionate, I ask that you not rob them of their opportunity to release and empower at Full Moon. Our Goddess candle will always be available before Circle to infuse with your desires of healings and or energy for others in need. If you are in desperate need of help please ask all that are willing to help to come before Circle and Aphrodite’s will be available for Reiki or what is needed. This will allow all to attend their personal work once in Circle and leave with only their own magick in the senses.

Unity
It is the desires of the Coven to see all that seek Goddess prosper and grow as women in Her reflection. To stand together as Spiritual Energy and live by our like minded principles. We except this unity as Her work and allow our energy to be guided by Her as a sanctuary to all women who seek our Circle. Previous degrees are acknowledged within our Coven with acceptance of our traditions.
To uphold this pillar I ask all to come in perfect love and perfect trust. It is not this Coven’s intent to represent it’s self as a means of closeness of Goddess that is not available by other means for we are all of Goddess. It is this Coven’s intent to work in perfect love and perfect trust as a group of women growing strong in Goddess and stronger as women together. The word and measure of all who sit in Circle is held in highest expectations when granted entranced into our sacred space. Any ill intent conscious or other wise that comes in any measure other than perfect love and perfect trust will face its own retribution from our intent and Unity as a Coven of the Goddess.

We are a Circle within a Circle, open to all that seek and ever growing stronger in the inner Circle of her work.

After our Circle our craft tonight will be making a tree of fruitation. We will draw a tree with many branches. On each branch we will list our hopes and aspirations for the following seasons that will complete this year and wheel’s turning.
We will the cut out leaves of many colors that will represent our work in gathering our resources to manifest our desires and bring our tree into fruitation.
Example;
Green- actively sought resources through resumes, fliers, advertisements, and conversations.
Yellow- made less attempts than we were capable of
Red- thought of it but saved it for another day
Blue- mediated on it
Brown- were to afraid, shy to do anything
Black- asks someone else to help us do what we thought we could not do ourselves.
Daily we will glue leaves on the associated branches. Life is 3-D and our leaves will create volume as it becomes 3-D as well. You will have a mirror of your efforts to guide and at seasons end. Your colors will reflect your work of self and effort towards manifestation of your desires. Good luck on your harvest
